FAQ
How long are the pack walks?
Held Monday through Friday, pack walks are at least 60 minutes and include rest. Some days may combine private yard time with a pack walk in which the total activity time is at least 90 minutes. We take plenty of breaks for water and rest. Your pup may be gone for approximately 1.5 to 5+ hours depending on which customers are joining for the day and where you fall in the route. Pick-up time generally may be as early as 8:30am and drop off time generally may be as late as 5:00pm.
Can my dog walk with your pack?
I evaluate each dog to determine if they might benefit from my pack events. Significant car sickness or severe reactivity may be barriers. Unwanted behaviors are evaluated and addressed in training sessions with and without the owners. Depending on the behavior, owners may be required to participate in several training sessions. If your dog becomes a good candidate, I will introduce them to other members of the pack for a trial.
What commitment is required for your pack?
At commitment to least 2 pack walks per week is required (dogs with behavioral challenges will require more frequency). A discount is offered if 4 or more pack walks occur in any week.
What is your approach?
I build relationships with dogs so they see me as a trustworthy relevant leader. I use leash work to help them move fluidly through life. My goal is to help them be fulfilled by maintaining their training, providing consistent structure, and creating social opportunities. I want owners to have a fulfilling relationship with their dogs as well.
Do you offer dog sitting?
I am sometimes available for dog sitting at your home. Dog must already be a weekly pack member and will join weekday pack events during the sitting at a discounted price when they occur.
