FAQ
Can I drop off and pick up my dog at your home?
For Daycare Hybrid (offered Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) you are able to bring your dog to my van in front of my home in East Hollywood between 8-8:30am and pick them up at the same place between 5-5:30pm.
What is Daycare Hybrid like?
After clients bring their dogs to me in the morning, I pick up a few more dogs and then head to our destination. We have a neighborhood pack walk usually for 60+ minutes before going into a yard. There the dogs can interact, explore, and play if they like. I often do some other exercises with 1 or more dogs while we're in the yard. Then we get back in the van, I drop off a few dogs, and we return to my home. We typically have another short pack walk before clients pick up their dogs.
Can you pick up/drop dogs at clients' homes for the Daycare Hybrid?
Because we want to have more activity time, there are only a few limited spots available for this option currently and you must live close to me or our destination. Contact me to find out if you would qualify for this option.
How long will my dog be gone for a Pack Walk at the Park?
Held Monday and Friday, Pack Walks at the Park are at least 60 minutes. We take plenty of breaks for water and rest. Your dog may be gone for approximately 1.5 to 5+ hours depending on which customers are joining for the day and where you fall in the route. Pick-up time generally may be as early as 8:30am and drop off time generally may be as late as 5:00pm.
Can my dog walk with your pack?
I evaluate each dog to determine if they might benefit from my pack events. Significant car sickness or severe reactivity may be barriers. Unwanted behaviors are evaluated and addressed in training sessions with and without the owners. Depending on the behavior, owners may be required to participate in several training sessions. If your dog becomes a good candidate, I will introduce them to other members of the pack for a trial.
What commitment is required for your pack?
At commitment to least 2 services per week is required (dogs with behavioral challenges will require more frequency). Typically the services must occur on the same days each week.
What is your approach?
I build relationships with dogs so they see me as a trustworthy relevant leader. I use leash work to help them move fluidly through life. My goal is to help them be fulfilled by providing consistent structure and creating social opportunities. I want owners to have fulfilling relationships with their dogs as well.
